Abstract: | In March 2002 the author took part in the “Gladiator” expedition to the Brandberg Massif in Namibia. The mantids collected on the expedition are recorded here. In addition to the Brandberg, the author collected in the town of Uis, on the Erongoberg massif, and on Mt. Regenstein. A total of twelve species were collected, eight from the Brandberg Massif. The habitus and male genitalia of Oxypiloidea tridens (Saussure, 1872) are illustrated for the first time. |
