Bolbena assimilis
Bolbena assimilis (Kaltenbach, 1996).
This Bolbena (Bolbena) assimilis (Kaltenbach, 1996) was attracted to light at Mason Shelter on the Brandberg Massif. It is one of the praying mantids collected during the "Gladiator Expedition" to Namibia in 2002. The main aim of the expedition was to find specimens of Mantophasmatodea; a secondary aim was to survey other animals in the region. Phil Bragg collected mantids on the expedition.
